MARKETING AUTOMATION SPECIALIST
About the role
Do you love turning data into personalized experiences at scale? Are you someone who gets excited by a well-timed journey, a clean segment, and a test that teaches you something? If so, this might be exactly the right next step.
As a Marketing Automation Specialist at SAS, you will independently own and evolve automated customer journeys and omnichannel communication flows – driving sales, loyalty and customer experience through data-driven, personalized engagement and marketing automation across email, SMS, push and beyond.
Challenges you will work on:
- Design, build and continuously optimize automated customer journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, leveraging data and audience insights to drive relevance, customer value and conversion.
- Execute calendar-based emails, SMS and push communication in line with the marketing plan.
- Configure audience segmentation and selection with data-driven logic to reach the right customer at the right time, using customer insights and behavioral data to improve relevance and engagement.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate testing strategies, translating results into actionable journey improvements and campaign optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with CRM Specialists to ensure relevant and personalized content, and act as an internal specialist on journey automation best practices, contributing to how the team evolves its ways of working and marketing automation tooling over time.
The Team
You will be part of the Performance Management team, working closely with CRM Specialists, a Senior MA Specialist, and Paid Digital Marketing Specialists, and collaborating with Analytics, CRM IT, Digital Sales and e-Commerce.
It's a team that values data, and genuine curiosity about what the next generation of marketing tools can do. We combine strong specialist expertise with collaboration, continuous learning and knowledge sharing, always striving to improve customer experience and marketing performance.
To be successful we believe you have
You have a structured and detail-oriented approach, a strong commercial mindset, and a genuine curiosity about MarTech, data, and customer experience. You are comfortable taking ownership of your work, working independently when needed, and collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across teams.
- Hands-on experience within marketing automation or CRM, including building, managing, and optimizing customer journeys end-to-end.
- Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, customer journeys, personalization, and lifecycle marketing.
- Experience with A/B testing, campaign performance analysis, and continuous optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-powered workflows and automation tools used to improve efficiency, testing, and campaign execution.
It’s a bonus if you also have experience from:
