CREW SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Crew Support Coordinator, Oslo Norway
Do you want to make a difference—every day?
We are now looking for a person to fill a full-time temporary position until august 2027. As part of our Crew Support/Crew Base team at Oslo Airport, you help ensure that SAS flights operate every day; safely, efficiently, and professionally. Together with the team, you provide our flying personnel with the right conditions to focus on their mission.
Challenges you will work on
As a Crew Support Coordinator, you play a key role in the daily flight operation. You ensure that our flying personnel have everything they need to perform their duties, by securing a smooth workflow, solving practical issues, and connecting both the operational and administrative parts of the business. You are responsible for the daily operations of Crew Base Oslo, as well as administrative tasks related to crew. The position is a 100% temporary role with shift work (approx. 06–18), and the operation runs every day throughout the year.
You will work closely with the Operations Control Center and collaborate with the Crew Support teams in Copenhagen and Stockholm.
In this role, you combine operational and administrative tasks, including:
- Daily support to traffic operations in collaboration with the Operations Control Center
- Booking and coordinating hotel and transportation for crew
- Ensuring crew members have valid and required regulatory documents
- Booking airline tickets and hotels when needed
- Administrative support related to SAS ID cards, access cards, and expense reimbursements
- Administration related to onboarding and offboarding of crew
- Support related to web and training systems
- Invoice handling
- Follow-up of variable salary elements and per diem
- Actively contributing to improvement and quality work, as well as documentation of work methods and processes
The team
The Crew Support/Crew Base Oslo team consists of seven people who work closely together, one of whom will be going on maternity leave in August. The team culture is open, supportive, and filled with laughter. The work is varied and sometimes intensive, which makes cooperation, flexibility, and a solution-oriented mindset essential. At the same time, structure and attention to detail create confidence in the daily work.
To be successful, we believe you have
- Communicate effortlessly in at least one Scandinavian language as well as English, and use both naturally in your daily work
- Can work full-time shifts throughout the year (approx. 06–18), with the workplace at Oslo Airport
- Have experience from service or administration
- Enjoy administrative tasks and work in a structured manner even when the pace is high
- Have solid IT and system skills. The role involves using many different systems in parallel, so we believe you are curious about digital tools and enjoy system-based work
- You are curious, solution-oriented, and service-minded. You represent SAS professionally to our personnel and quickly find solutions when circumstances change
- Are independent and accountable. You seek support from the team and leader when needed, but take significant ownership of your work, as much of it is carried out independently
