Aircraft Technician - SAS Maintenance Production OSL
SAS Maintenance Production at Oslo Airport (OSL) is part of SAS’ integrated aircraft maintenance organization. Our primary mission is to ensure airworthy aircraft, delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
We perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, and troubleshooting on SAS-operated aircraft, including the Airbus A320 family and Embraer E190/ fleet.
Our team consists of approximately 170 skilled aircraft technicians and mechanics, organized across 6 shift teams, providing operational coverage 24/7/365.
We are now looking for dedicated and skilled Aircraft Technicians to join our team and continue SAS’ proud tradition of excellence in aircraft maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
The role involves performing scheduled maintenance checks and carrying out component replacements, as well as troubleshooting aircraft systems and components to ensure optimal performance. You will ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with approved manuals and applicable regulatory requirements. In addition, you will contribute to LEAN initiatives and actively support continuous improvement and operational optimization processes, while consistently maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and quality in all aspects of your work.
Qualifications
- Licensed Aircraft Technician or under Part-66 training.
- Valid EASA Part-66 B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License
- Preferred type rating on SAS-operated aircraft Airbus A320/A330/A350 and/or Embraer E1/E2
- Proven experience in aircraft system troubleshooting
- High level of English and/or Norwegian (written and spoken)
- Additional skills such as Sheet Metal and Composite or other relevant skills are highly valued

Additional information

- Desired start date: 1st of September - 1st of November.
- Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period.
This position is based in a security-restricted airport area, and employment is subject to:
- Approved police certificate / background check in accordance with aviation regulations
- Completed and approved drug and alcohol testing, including CDT and PEth markers
- For non-EU/EEA applicants: documentation of residence in Norway or Europe for the past 5 years
