MEDICAL SUPPORT LEAD FLIGHT OPERATION
We are looking for a high-performing team player to join our forces!
Are you a structured, and solution-oriented professional with strong communication skills, excelling in dynamic environments? If yes, you might be our new Medical Management Lead!
The Team
Medical Leads are a crucial part of SAS Airline Operations, supporting the organization through pragmatic, harmonized, and efficient sick-leave follow-up processes. We are a small, skill-diverse team striving for success in every project we take on by delivering data-driven solutions, actionable insights and consistent task-tracking to reach SAS shared targets.
Managing absence analytics is at the core of what we do. We identify trends, translate patterns into practical actions, and provide clear recommendations for crew managers and other stakeholders. Therefore, a close collaboration across a broad stakeholder network is also a key part of our work, ensuring process alignment, policy compliance, as well as adherence to legal framework across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and the UK. We aim to integrate people, processes, and culture under one common standard.

You will play a crucial role in developing new SOPs, driving improvement projects, and tracking value-adding activities together with your cross-functional colleagues in the Medical Leads Team. Another important aspect of the role is the ability to translate data-driven insights into clear recommendations and measurable actions.
In short, you will provide pragmatic leadership support as a trusted advisor, by simplifying complexity, identifying patterns, and reviewing performance/attendance in close dialogue with crew management, who are ultimately responsible for our flying crew.
A naturally curious mindset, strong root-cause analysis skills, and the ability to maintain a human perspective are essential to the way we work.
