Resource Manager, SAS Teknisk Base

We are now looking for a new colleague to our Resource Management Team at SAS Maintenance Production at the OSL Gardermoen base.

 

The Resource Management Team is responsible for resource planning for all SAS Maintenance Production work to be done in the SAS Gardermoen Hangar. The team will ensure that the long-term daily production resources and competence is in accordance with Planning Criterias. Through weekly meetings with the CAMO planning department, you will approve the implementation of planned production 4 weeks ahead. You are responsible for making it possible to allocate the right number of people, at the right time and with the right qualification. You work with specific demand calculations and the balance between staff and demand. You are expected to deliver results that consider safety, cost and quality.

 

The team consist of two colleagues. Due to career moves we now have the possibility to recruit a new colleague and build a new team. We are looking forward to hiring a senior and experienced colleague in the role as Resource Manager. You will be based in the Gardermoen Hangar and will report to the Production Manager Kjerand Stokke.

Some of the tasks and responsibilities to be solved in the Resource Management team:

  • Ensure that the base has the correct qualified staff to fulfill the production
  • Participate in daily and weekly meetings and reviews Update and follow up on staff and planning KPI:s
  • Give inputs in the preparation and planning of the overall human resources budget
  • Follow up and suggest moving of employees between shift-schedules to maintain a balanced production
  • Union activity – Dialogue with unions regarding shift patterns, use of contractors, overtime and other topics that apply to the resource work
  • Recruitment of next generation Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Mechanics
  • Responsible for newsletters


Who are we looking for?

The candidate we are looking for are interested in the airline industry and likes to work close to the daily operation but still have responsibility for long-term tasks and strategic projects. You probably have an education within engineering/Business administration or likewise. You speak and read Norwegian and English on an advanced level. But most important of all. You like to work in a dynamic environment where no day is the same.

 

As a Resource Manager you have the experience from a similar position and a solid educational background. You are a strong communicator and used to stake holder management. You are structured, analytical and have the possibility to see the bigger picture. Shown ability to work successfully and respectfully with peers, managers and other departments. Diplomatic and solution-oriented attitude. Flexible, team oriented, service minded and loyal to decisions.

 

Since you will work airside, you will go through some background tests including drug- and alcohol tests in the end of the recruitment process.
