Aircraft Material Inspector - SAS Technical Operations

We are looking for an Aircraft Material Inspector to join SAS Technical Operations in Copenhagen.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing visual inspections to identify defects, transport damage, and suspected unapproved parts.
- Verifying that received parts are supported by the correct documentation and comply with EASA Part-145 requirements and company procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and technical standards.
- Registering and maintaining component data in SAS MMIS (AMOS).
- Handling claims and returns in accordance with company procedures.
- Supporting warehouse operations, material storage, and logistics activities.
- Collaborating with departments such as Remote Receiving and Aircraft Records.
- Participating in audits, projects, and continuous training activities.
- Occasionally supporting other logistics functions within the organization.
The Team
You will join CPHHS-C, part of Supply Chain Management within SAS Technical Operations. The team is responsible for logistics activities that support the maintenance organization, including goods reception, acceptance inspection, storage, picking, transportation, and delivery to production. The department also manages tools used throughout the hangar environment.
The team consists of 26 dedicated colleagues working around the clock to ensure a continuous supply of spare parts, tools, and materials to support aircraft maintenance activities. We value teamwork, accountability, safety, and continuous improvement, and we work collaboratively to deliver high-quality support to our operational stakeholders.
To be successful we believe you have
- Experience within warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or a similar operational environment.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work with operational systems and databases.
- Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- A valid driving licence.
- A forklift certificate.
- A structured and quality-focused way of working.
- The ability to take ownership of your responsibilities and follow tasks through to completion.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to team collaboration.
- A positive mindset toward learning, development, and continuous improvement.
Experience from the aviation industry and familiarity with EASA Part-145 requirements or AMOS would be considered an advantage.

- Position: Full-time (100%) with 3 months probation period. The work hours are in shifts.
- Salary: According to the current local agreements with Flyarbejdernes Klub/3F.
- Location: The position is based in our Hangar in Copenhagen Airport, where you will be expected to work on-site.
- Safety background check: Since you will work on "airside" certain security/background checks and drug- and alcohol test is mandatory in the process before hiring
