SAS Scandinavia is seeking a qualified and motivated Assistant Chief Flight Instructor (ACFI) Airbus to support and deputize for the Chief Flight Instructor within SAS Crew Training. This position is a key role within the Airbus training organization and contributes directly to maintaining high training standards, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity.
You will work closely with the Chief Flight Instructor and be part of a professional training management environment supporting Airbus flight training within SAS Scandinavia.
Challenges you will work on
• Act as a qualified instructor on the relevant Airbus aircraft type.
• Support the CFI in all relevant training and operational matters.
• Serve as Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) during periods when the primary CFI is unavailable (e.g., vacation or leave of absence).
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all relevant documentation, including OM-D, ATO manual, and applicable training manuals.
• Evaluate type-related training and propose improvements, including LIFUS programs.
• Assist STOOL and MFTS in all relevant matters.
• Participate in meetings in accordance with directives from NP Crew Training and Head of Training.
To be successful, we believe you have
• Qualified instructor on a SAS-relevant Airbus aircraft type.
• Relevant instructional experience within an EASA ATO environment.
• Ability to assume CFI responsibilities when required.
• Fluent in English and one Scandinavian language.
• Proficiency in standard IT tools, including Microsoft Office.
