You will play a key role in shaping and transforming SAS Cargo to meet the future market challenges.

Main areas of responsibilities

When joining the team one of your responsibilities will be to maintain and develop our current BI-platform and tools. You will help ensure that our BI services meet the commercial requirements as well as the operational and functional. You also develop and deliver on a long-term BI architecture and on the development roadmaps, primarily self-service BI, big data and predictive analytics.

Other tasks will be to contribute to the development and improvement of the service quality and efficiency.

Collaboration is key

To excel in the role, you must be a team player and an excellent collaborator. We believe that you succeed in the job if you are energetic and open-minded as well as eager to learn and develop. You know how to motivate others and yourself and you are result oriented and own a “can do” attitude. You build relationships, coordinate and communicate well with many different kind of people and departments. You are persistent and brave but also practical and attentive. You solve the tasks with strong business and analytical skills.

You will be inspired by SAS sustainable approach, SAS Employee model and SAS Cargo’s strategic vision.

Did you know?

As you sit back and enjoy your flight, the plane you are on today is carrying more than just you and your luggage. Beneath your feet, the cargo hold is filled with freight that needs to arrive on time just as much as you do.

Down in the belly of the plane, you will find things like fresh salmon, spare parts for cars, lobsters and even life-saving medicine that needs urgent and temperature-regulated transport. And depending on the time of year, you might find Christmas gifts and cards, or maybe flowers that need to be delivered in time for Valentine’s Day, all of which will be winging their way to another part of the world, safely delivered on time by SAS Cargo.

A normal flight to New York for example, can hold between 18-22 tons of cargo. Depending on weather, wind, and number of passengers onboard.
