We're looking for a skilled and proactive Cargo Revenue Accounting Specialist to join SAS Cargo Revenue Accounting team.
You'll be at the heart of our cargo business, bridging Cargo Organization and Finance. By understanding how cargo moves through the operational journey, you'll help ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and financial controls while looking at process improvements through digitalization and AI.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining operational understanding with accounting expertise and is excited about digitalization, automation and AI.
You'll become part of a highly specialized team of 6 with a unique view across cargo operations and finance. We offer a collaborative international environment where you'll have the opportunity to influence how digitalization and AI shape the future of revenue accounting
What you'll do
• Ensure accurate and timely billing of cargo and airmail revenue.
• Perform quality checks and investigate revenue, billing, and accounting discrepancies.
• Manage Export Agent and Interline Revenue Accounting, including settlements through IATA CASS and SIS.
• Reconcile General Ledger and Accounts Receivable balances and support month-end activities.
• Review and certify cargo-related Accounts Payable invoices.
• Support and resolve complex cases together with internal stakeholders and outsourced service providers.
• Help identify opportunities for automation, data analytics, and AI-driven solutions.
What we're looking for
• An understanding of the cargo operational flow and a genuine interest in learning the business behind the numbers. As an extended arm of Cargo Operations, we work closely with operational teams to ensure accurate billing, accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Experience in cargo revenue accounting, finance operations, cargo reservations, or a similar field.
• Experience in the airline, cargo, or logistics industry is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• A collaborative mindset and ability to work across different functions, cultures and stakeholders.
• Interest in improving processes through digital tools, automation, and AI.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
• Knowledge of IATA CASS, SIS, Oracle, Revera, SkyChain, Power BI, Excel, or similar systems is a plus.

• Position: Fulltime (100%)
• This position is based at SAS Cargo’s HQ facility at Copenhagen airport, and you will be expected to work onsite as a close collaboration across teams is an important part of the role. Possibility for some work from home as per SAS remote work policy.
• To be eligible for this position you need an EU-work permit. Please note that we ask you to inform us if you currently have a valid EU-work permit.
