Digital Service Owner
Are you ready to take the role as Digital Service Owner (DSO) for SAS Cargo’s operational and commercial platforms as we are getting ready for one of the biggest transitions in SAS’ life? We are looking for a visionary, structured and experienced DSO to take lead on the key SAS Cargo platforms ensuring stable and reliant operations, business driven release management, optimal incident processes and drive the next years’ transformation. This role is pivotal in SAS Cargo’s ability to operate and grow, leveraging industry-specific technologies, data and AI to align with industry standards such as IATA´s NDC and ONE Order. Challenges you will work on
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will oversee and be accountable for the end-to-end performance and lifecycle of the digital platforms (hosted and supported by Accelya) that power SAS Cargo’s ability to run their business. You will coordinate across the team, D&IT, vendor and business SMEs ensuring SAS Cargo are able to use their business-critical systems.
- As the Digital Service Owner, act as the day-to-day owner of availability and performance of Skychain, CargoRM, Princeinfluencer and PIE ensuring service management excellence and compliance, and that our SAS Cargo receive the best possible service across all channels
- Drive and coordinate prioritization and planning of releases together with your colleagues in D&IT Cargo Solutions, SAS Cargo SMEs and vendors
- Continuously optimize overall quality of service delivered to SAS Cargo by optimizing processes, tools and collaboration with other SAS D&IT teams and external IT service providers and vendors, ensuring performance, compliance, security, cost efficiency and value delivery
- Stay ahead of technology trends, including AI and data-driven innovation, bringing new insights to SAS Cargo and SAS´s digital strategy
- The airline and air-cargo industries are time-critical operations and rely on professional incident management process. Along with your team colleagues you will take part in 2nd level responsibilities when necessary.
- Act as functional lead for two senior specialists working in the same realm of applications
The Team
You are part of the SAS Digital & IT Cargo Solutions team responsible for SAS Cargo and SAS Cargo Handling IT services. We are a diverse, lean and dedicated team of colleagues contributing with our different experience and areas of expertise. We work closely with our colleagues in other D&IT, SAS and SAS Cargo teams, and we work closely with our external technology partners. To be successful we believe you have
- 7+ years’ experience and a solid understanding of air cargo commercial IT landscapes, ideally Accelya Skychain and related systems
- Proven track record in IT service management and managing vendor relationships in an IT environment primarily consisting of SAAS solutions
- Tech-savvy with experience or strong interest in leveraging automation and AI technologies to enhance our service management capabilities and services
- Solid experience in freight forwarding processes, and are fully at home in Offer & Order, Pricing, and Revenue Management terms.
- Strong industry knowledge with a passion for enabling digital transformation in air cargo
- A structured, analytical and strategic mindset with a strong drive to achieve results
- The ability to balance long-term vision with strong operational execution
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders
- Degree within relevant field: IT, Engineering or Logistics

- Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 3-month probation period
- This position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark at our new refurbished office at Kystvejen 2, 2770 Kastrup, located at Copenhagen Airport. You will be expected to work onsite, with the possibility of up to two days working from home. Regular duty travel shall be expected for this position primarily in Scandinavia.
