Head of People Analytics

Data quality, insights and analytics is fundamental to running a sound business. Our Head of People Analytics is ultimately accountable for ensuring high quality people data at any time, standardized reporting ready hand and proactive people analytics to steer decision making when it comes to i.e. rewards, organizational design and workforce planning. Our small yet impactful People Analytics Team collaborates across our People Team as well as partners and influences outside our own function in order to maximize the potential of people data and analytics across SAS. 
 

As a Head of People Analytics at SAS you will:

•    Own the quality and reporting of our people data across SAS and leverage same to build historical insights (dashboard) as well as drive future decision making (predictive analytics)
•    Support Group Business Control, SAS People Leadership Team, and business leaders with analysis, reporting and financial follow up associated with rewards and workforce planning 
•    Drive prioritized improvement initiatives within data quality, management and reporting to ensure a standardized format
•    Foster and grow data-driven model and processes within the People Team to increase transparency in personnel related costs in SAS
•    Support in union negotiations with the purpose of validating calculations and ensure outcome is financially aligned with SAS overall strategic direction and financial forecasting
•    Proactively contribute with decision support, and evaluate the effect of suggested organizational change initiatives associated with rewards and work force planning

 

To be successful, we believe you should have:
•    Relevant University degree within economics, finance or data management, preferably at Master’s level
•    Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
•    Sound experience with people analytics and proven track record of driving decision making through data insights (i.e. REWARDS, organizational design, workforce planning)  
•    Experience from working as a business partner and driving the financial (rewards)/analytical agenda in leadership teams 
•    Experience from stakeholder partnerships and cross functional leadership in a multinational environment 
•    Experience from union negotiations and leverage of people data in this context is desired
•    Ability to translate the need for data accuracy and discipline into business outcomes
•    Ability to translate complex data sets into precis and meaningful executive summaries
•    Ability to inspire colleagues across the People Team to take shared responsibility for data quality and management
•    Comfort in shared responsibilities and dependency on stakeholders to input and leverage data
•    Highly skilled in MS Excel (incl. VBA, and PowerPivot), databases and BI
•    Fluent in English (oral and written)
