We are investing in our Global Sales capabilities to secure future revenue growth and secure efficient sales operations. Short Description and Purpose

The air freight industry has experienced significant growth with increasing demand for cargo services worldwide. Demand is projected to continue increasing and the industry is facing a rapid transformation where digitalization, product development, pricing and advanced analytics play a key role.

 

SAS Cargo Group (SCG) has been successful in capturing the growth in the market as well as an important enabler for the profitability of SAS long haul operations. We have multiple strategic development projects on-going, one of them being improving our existing Sales Program.

 

We seek a Program Manager to take responsibility for development and continuous improvement of this program with main focus in securing customer centric offering and efficient sales operations for our Global Sales. In addition to program responsibility, our various departments (sales, commercial, operations, finance) have ad-hoc and continuous reporting and analyses needs and your task is to ensure that all relevant reports and analyses are available to enable data driven decisions. What will you be doing

The position is part of the Strategic Business Development department, responsible for SAS Cargo’s overall strategic direction and supporting all of our departments in various strategic development topics. You will be working closely with the Global Sales organisation and all other SAS Cargo’s departments. Your contribution will be key in ensuring we have value adding offering towards our strategic customers, our Global Sales operates in an efficient manner and we have right numbers and analyses to support decision making.

 

You will report to the Head of Strategic Business Development. The following are your responsibilities:

 

SALES PROGRAM Development and implementation of sales program for global sales (segmentation, customer offering, account management model and process, sales analytics)

 

MARKET AND COMPETITOR INTELLIGENCE Maintain up-to date view of SAS Cargo’s performance against the market. Recognize performance gaps and opportunities and turn them into sales opportunities

 

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE Owner for Customer Experience process, measurement tool and related analyses

 

ANALYTICS Support all SAS Cargo departments in ad-hoc and continuous reporting and analyses tasks

 

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Sales Program related development will keep you busy during first 12 months. After that you will engage with various strategic business development activities supporting other SAS Cargo departments.

Who are we looking for

  • 3-5 years of sales program development preferably for a global sales organization and within the transportation industry
  • Strong analytical skills (previous Power BI development experience is an advantage but not required)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and good presentation skills
  • Strong drive to seek continuous improvement and ensure your development initiatives are successfully implemented

 

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in business related field

Our office is currently in AMAGERSTRAND complex. There is a newly renovated gym complimentary for all SAS staff, as well as nearby facilities for practice of padel and running, all within walking distance to metro and railway stations and of course good access by bike from central Copenhagen. We are planning to move closer to the airport in 2026.
