You will be part of Commercial’s RM and Pricing team, a small and diverse team responsible for optimizing SAS Cargo’s revenue and contribution, and ensuring that SAS Cargo is offering a competitive network, relevant products and competitive rates on SAS capacity.
What you’ll do
In-depth analysis
- Analyze performance across yields, load factors, revenue drivers, and flights to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Conduct scenario modelling and forecasting together with the Finance Business Controller and Partner and Strategic Pricing Manager to support strategic decisions and reporting outlooks
- Contribute to our ongoing ML/AI initiatives, enhancing our predictive capabilities and enabling smarter, data‑driven decision‑making.
- Support or lead development of business cases and business follow-up across SAS Cargo
- Act as an internal ambassador for data-driven decision making within SAS Cargo.
Revenue Management
- Optimize revenue contribution on SAS belly capacity on your own route portfolio through optimal rates, overbooking decisions and sales mix analysis
- Work cross functional with Operations managers and planners, and Sales on day-to-day route optimization
- Monitor and adjust steering (rates, capacity allocation) based on market changes and input from stakeholders
- Evaluate and set up allotment allocations
- Respond to special rate requests (spot market)
- Work with Global Sales and Strategic Pricing Manager to set rates correctly and win deals
- Work with our RM architect and rest of the RM-team to continuously develop best practice and adoption of our upcoming new RM system enhancements.
What you bring
- Required: 1-2 years of experience in an analytical or technical role. Minimum BSc degree or equivalent. Previous experience in revenue management, data/business analysis, or a related field within aviation, logistics, transportation, hospitality or other network industries is big plus.
- Preferred: Experience with statistical modeling, RM systems, programming, or quantitative analytics will make you stand out.

Additional Information

- Desired start date: As soon as possible.
- Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 3-month probation period
- This position is based at SAS Cargo’s new HQ facility at Copenhagen airport, and you will be expected to work onsite. Some remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
- To be eligible for this position you need an EU-work permit. Please note that we ask you to inform us if you currently have a valid EU-work permit.
