Short Description

SAS Supply Chain in Copenhagen is part of SAS overall Maintenance Production and is referred to as Hangar Service Center

The main purpose of Hangar Service Center is to support Maintenance Production in material, tool and logistic handling, including storekeeping, receiving/acceptance of components and transport.


We are now looking for a our new Supervisor Logistics to lead and ensure that our Hangar Service Center delivers on agreed goals in a safe and efficient manner according to given regulations.

You will in this role report to the Logistic Manager in CPH and oversee approximately 17 colleagues. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work according to safety first and drive performance through coaching leadership and continuous daily follow-ups.

  • Optimize resource allocation and working methods to ensure cost-effective performance.

  • Lead and inspire employees to achieve departmental KPIs and SAS’ goals, utilizing established LEAN principles and tools, fostering team spirit and supporting continuous employee development.

  • Lead and support the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development and offboarding.

  • Manage resource planning, including vacation scheduling, and ensure employees maintain the right competencies and training.

  • Follow up on deviation reports for the own unit.

  • Oversee security in the goods receiving area “Ramp.”

  • Maintain internal contacts within and outside the Technical Supply Chain, and external contacts with suppliers and authorities.

Experience

  • Proven experience in transport and logistics operations.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and other Office programs.

  • Familiarity with the SAS MMIS system.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Experience in optimizing resource usage and implementing cost-effective working methods.

  • Knowledge of LEAN principles and tools is preferred.
