As SAS continues its growth and transformation journey, we are looking for a passionate and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Pilot Recruitment team. This is a unique opportunity to recruit for one of the airline's most strategically important talent segments while helping shape the future workforce of Scandinavia's leading airline.

Challenges you will work on:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on Pilot Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring SAS continues to attract and hire exceptional pilot talent. You will manage recruitment activities from initial candidate engagement through assessment and selection, partnering closely with pilot recruitment assessors, People & Culture, operational stakeholders, and business leaders across Scandinavia. 

 

Based in Denmark, you will be part of our dedicated Frontline Recruitment team and work closely with colleagues across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. You will act as an ambassador for SAS throughout the recruitment journey, ensuring a professional, engaging, and transparent experience for every candidate. 

 

You will proactively identify and attract talent, conduct pre-screening activities, coordinate and participate in assessment events, and support data-driven recruitment decisions. In addition, you will contribute to employer branding initiatives, process improvements, and talent attraction strategies that strengthen SAS's position as an employer of choice within aviation. 

The role includes occasionally travel within Scandinavia to support pilot assessments and recruitment activities. 

What you will be doing:

Manage recruitment activities for pilot hiring across SAS 

Screen applications and conduct pre-selection interviews via phone and video 

Participate in pilot assessment days and conduct interviews together with pilot recruitment assessors 

Ensure a professional, engaging, and seamless candidate experience throughout the recruitment process 

Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates and key stakeholders 

Coordinate recruitment administration, reporting, and candidate documentation 

Maintain accurate recruitment data and ensure compliance throughout the recruitment process 

Collaborate closely with pilot recruitment assessors, People Partners, hiring leaders, and operational stakeholders 

Support employer branding activities 

Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes, candidate experience, and assessment methodologies 

Build and maintain talent pipelines to support future pilot hiring needs 

To be successful we believe you have

Experience within Talent Acquisition, recruitment, or talent sourcing 

Experience recruiting pilots or working within aviation is highly desirable 

Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across different functions 

A passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences 

Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously 

Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology 

Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken 

Danish or another Scandinavian language is an advantage 

The ability to work in a structured and detail-oriented manner while maintaining pace and flexibility 

A proactive mindset and a continuous improvement approach
