As an Aircraft Technician in SAS Maintenance Production SVG, you will help ensure that SAS-operated aircraft are maintained safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the highest regulatory and operational standards.
In this role, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and component replacements on SAS-operated aircraft, including the Airbus A320 family and Embraer E1/E2.
You will ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with approved manuals, procedures, and applicable aviation regulations. Safety, compliance, and quality will always be at the core of your work.
You will also contribute to continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, helping the team improve processes, optimize operations, and secure reliable aircraft availability for SAS’ traffic program

You will be part of SAS Maintenance Production at Stavanger Sola Airport, which is an integrated part of SAS’ aircraft maintenance organization.
At SVG, we are a small and skilled team of aircraft technicians and mechanics providing operational coverage 24/7/365. We work closely together, support each other, and take shared responsibility for delivering airworthy aircraft safely and on time.

To be successful we believe you have
You have a structured and responsible approach to aircraft maintenance and take ownership of your work from start to finish. You understand the importance of compliance, documentation, and following approved procedures, while also being able to make sound decisions in a dynamic operational environment.
We believe you have:
- Valid EASA Part-66 B1 and/or B2 Aircraft Maintenance License, or are currently under Part-66 training
- Experience from aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving
- Preferably type rating on SAS-operated aircraft, such as Airbus A320/A330/A350 and/or Embraer E1/E2
- Good understanding of aviation regulations, approved manuals, and maintenance procedures
- High level of English and/or Norwegian, both written and spoken
- Additional skills such as Sheet Metal, Composite, or other relevant technical competence are highly valued

Position: Full-time, 100%, starting with a 6-month probation period.
This position is based at Stavanger Sola Airport and is located in a security-restricted airport area. Employment is therefore subject to:
Approved police certificate / background check in accordance with aviation regulations
Completed and approved drug and alcohol testing, including CDT and PEth markers
For non-EU/EEA applicants: documentation of residence in Norway or Europe for the past 5 years
