AOG PURCHASER
About the role
Are you motivated by taking responsibility and working in a fast-paced environment? Are you also comfortable making decisions, both independently and as part of a team? We are now looking for a relationship-oriented and collaborative professional to join our AOG team!
AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Purchasing is a 24/7 operation that works to ensure the fastest possible acquisition of aircraft spare parts and aviation materials for our aircraft. In the role of AOG Purchaser, you will work to provide fast, creative, and safe solutions to material shortages and logistics challenges. You will have a broad international network and work in a relationship-building manner to creatively solve operational and supply chain challenges as they arise.
In this role, you should be able to manage a large part of the logistics organization’s overall processes and, during the times you work nights and weekends, you will be the sole purchaser as well as operationally responsible for all of Technical Supply Chain and Central Logistics.
Challenges you will work on:
- Sourcing and supply of urgently needed aircraft spare parts
- Settlement and closing of AOG cases
- Coordinating the most effective transport solutions with the assigned freight forwarder
- Tracking transport and continuously participating in improving our global transport and logistics processes
- Daily status meetings with SAS traffic management
- Close coordination of cases with Maintenance
- 24/7 support to others in the organization (materials, logistics, and some system support)
- Ensure clear, timely, and accurate communication with all stakeholders, suppliers and customers

To be successful we believe you have
- Post-secondary education in purchasing and/or logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent work experience in the field
- Very good knowledge of at least one of the Scandinavian languages and English, both written and spoken
- Strong computer skills
- Good knowledge of AMOS
- Interest in the aviation industry and aviation logistics
- Experience in operational and/or analytical work as well as working with international suppliers, customer, or stakeholder is a plus

- Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period
- This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
