Business Controller – eCommerce and Revenue

Your Role
As a Business Controller, you will act as a trusted finance partner to the Commercial and Revenue/Network units, with eCommerce and Revenue/Network as your primary focus areas. Your stakeholders are responsible for ticket revenue, route optimization, ancillary revenue streams, and digital sales.
You will lead the process of coordinating and following up on all ongoing revenue and cost initiatives to ensure proper business case fulfillment. This role requires strong stakeholder management across multiple departments, combined with expertise in financial modelling and analysis. You will work closely with management teams to ensure financial transparency, improve efficiency, and contribute to SAS’s overall strategic goals.

Challenges you will work on

•    Act as the financial partner for eCommerce and Revenue/Network to ensure route profitability and drive financial performance.
•    Lead financial modeling and analysis of performance and future initiatives, acting as the expert in building business cases with commercial stakeholders.
•    Drive budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for P&L and cash flow.
•    Analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support cost-saving initiatives.
•    Provide ad-hoc analysis and financial insights to guide strategic decisions.
•    Promote a strong financial culture within the business units, ensuring accuracy, predictability, and transparency.

The Team

You will join the Commercial Finance team within the Performance Management function (Finance), working closely with the Revenue/Network and eCommerce organizations. Our team thrives in a dynamic, international environment and collaborates across the business to support SAS’s commercial strategy.

To be successful, we believe you have

•    Minimum 7 years of experience in business control, financial planning, or similar analytical roles.
•    Proven ability to act as a business partner and influence management teams.
•    Airline industry experience is an advantage (Business Control, Network, Revenue Management), as well as experience in eCommerce/Digital Sales.
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
•    Relevant university degree in finance, business, or engineering (Master’s preferred).
•    Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or similar tools is highly desirable.
•    Expertise in financial modeling and building business cases.
•    Fluency in English; Scandinavian language is a plus.

•    This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
