Procurement Professionals
As SAS continues to strengthen and expand its Procurement organization, we are looking for several Sorcing Managers/Catagory Managers to join our team.
Working within Operations, Commercial or Indirect Procurement, depending on your background and business needs, you will lead sourcing initiatives, develop supplier partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve commercial outcomes, operational performance and supplier value. The core of this role is to lead sourcing projects that improve cost efficiency, supplier performance and business outcomes through structured procurement processes, including RFx, negotiations and contracting.
Success in this role requires a broad business perspective, strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities to achieve the best outcome for SAS.
Challenges you will work on:
• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects, from opportunity assessment and business case development through RFx, negotiation, contracting and implementation.
• Build and develop strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
• Navigate a dynamic environment where priorities, requirements and business needs can change quickly.

To be successful we believe you have
• A university degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience within sourcing, procurement, supplier management or a similar commercial role.
• Proven experience leading RFx processes, supplier negotiations and contract implementation that deliver measurable business results.
• Proven ability to align stakeholders, manage conflicting priorities and drive decisions in complex organizational environments.
• A collaborative mindset combined with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and the ability to drive initiatives independently.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English.
Meriting experience
• Experience from aviation, transportation, logistics or other operationally complex industries.
• Experience within commercial, operational or indirect procurement environments.
• Experience driving change, process improvements or transformation initiatives.
