Customs Administrator (Temporary position until August 1st)

As a Customs Administrator at SAS, you will play a critical role in safeguarding compliance and ensuring smooth customs processes across our operations.

Challenges you will work on

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will:
•    Maintain and update information in SAS’s customs archive.
•    Check customs declarations and correct them when necessary.
•    Verify data in import and export declarations.
•    Track End-Use on imported material and create end-use reports for each relevant customs declaration.
•    Ensure SAS Technical Operations Part-145 compliance with customs regulations by following defined processes.
Your ability to collaborate with authorities, customs handlers, freight forwarders, and internal teams will be crucial to success.

You will be part of the Material Management department, working closely with a dedicated team and reporting to the Transport & Customs Manager. To be successful, we believe you have:

•    Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
•    Solid knowledge of customs administration and processes.
•    Proficiency in MS Excel.
•    Excellent English skills, spoken and written.
•    Fluency in a Scandinavian language, preferably Swedish, due to contact with public authorities.
•    A team-oriented, structured, and detail-focused approach.
•    Proactive, adaptable, and self-driven mindset.
•    Integrity and professionalism in all interactions.

Experience

•    2–4 years of experience within Swedish customs operations, or completion of the Yrkeshögskolan Customs Specialist program.

Education and Certifications
•    Post-secondary school education or University degree.
Additional qualifications (considered an advantage):
•    Lean Level 1 certification.
•    Training in Safety Culture (Human Factors).
•    Basic knowledge of AMOS.
•    IPC training.
•    Customs Commodity Code training.
