ENGINEER
Maintenance Program Engineer
We are now seeking a Maintenance Program Engineer to join our CAMO Engineering / AMP team at SAS. If you are passionate about aircraft airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and maintenance program development, this could be your next career opportunity.
In this role, you will contribute to the continued airworthiness of the SAS fleet by developing, maintaining, implementing, and improving Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP) and related maintenance program data. Working in close collaboration with engineering, reliability, maintenance planning, and operational stakeholders, you will ensure that maintenance programs remain compliant, effective, and aligned with regulatory and operational requirements.
Challenges you will work on:
Develop and manage maintenance programs
• Develop, amend, and maintain Aircraft Maintenance Programs (AMP) and Aircraft Maintenance Program Documents (AMPD).
• Evaluate maintenance program source document revisions and implement approved changes into the SAS maintenance program.
• Support annual AMP reviews and ensure findings are addressed through approved processes.
Ensure compliance and data quality
• Implement maintenance program amendments through approved direct and indirect approval processes.
• Maintain traceability to EASA requirements, approved source documents, and SAS procedures.
• Support maintenance program data loading, validation, and quality checks within AMOS and other maintenance information systems.
• Contribute to aircraft phase-in activities, including maintenance program setup and bridging requirements.
Collaborate and improve
• Work closely with CAMO Engineering, Reliability, Technical Publications, Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Control, Quality & Safety, and operational stakeholders.
• Support authority submissions and maintenance program implementation activities with clear and traceable communication.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve compliance, and enhance program quality.
The Team
You will be part of the CAMO Engineering / AMP team and work closely with Reliability, Technical Publications, Maintenance Planning, Maintenance Control, Quality & Safety, and operational stakeholders across SAS. Together, you will contribute to the continued airworthiness and compliance of the SAS fleet.
To be successful we believe you have
• Experience within aviation engineering, continuing airworthiness, maintenance planning, reliability, or maintenance program management.
• A strong safety and airworthiness mindset combined with a structured and analytical approach to problem-solving.
• Knowledge of EASA regulations, aircraft maintenance programs, and maintenance planning principles.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and operational functions.
• Experience with AMOS or other maintenance management systems is considered an advantage.

This position reports to the Fleet Manager Embraer and B737 & Team Leader Reliability, AMP and Technical Publications.
• Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period
• This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
