Group Business Controller at SAS

If so, the Group Business Controller role might be the perfect fit for you! As a Group Business Controller, you will play a key role in supporting SAS’s financial agenda and business strategy.

 

Challenges you will work on

In this exciting and dynamic role, you will:

•    Drive and support financial processes including target setting, FP&A/BI development, and financial analysis.
•    Proactively identify, assess, and present key business improvement opportunities.
•    Benchmark, follow up on performance/forecasts, KPIs, and drive change.
•    Manage periodic management reporting, budget, and forecast processes.
•    Support with ad-hoc analysis for business units and centrally for Business Performance Management.
•    Develop presentation materials for peers and executive leadership.
Your ability to combine storytelling in numbers with improving financial transparency will be crucial for success.

You will join a high-performing and collaborative Business Controller team that works closely with multiple stakeholders across SAS. Our team values precision, proactive thinking, and continuous improvement, and we thrive on creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

To be successful, we believe you have

•    Solid experience in business control, financial planning, and analysis.
•    Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a business controller or similar role; prior experience from management or auditing consulting firms is highly meriting.
•    Experience in stakeholder and process management in a multinational environment.
•    Strong analytical skills and ability to convey financial messages effectively.
•    Relevant M.Sc. degree in economy or finance.
•    Excellent skills in MS Excel (VBA macro knowledge meriting) and MS PowerPoint; experience with MS PowerBI and Anaplan (or similar BI tools) highly desired.
•    Fluency in English and preferably one Scandinavian language.
•    A strong challenging mindset, innovative approach, and self-drive.

  • This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
