Manager Automation & Analytics

Your Role
SAS Scandinavia is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Manager Automation & Analytics to join SAS Crew Training. This is a key position responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving automation, integrations, analytics, and digital processes supporting crew training operations across SAS.
You will work closely with operational training departments, system suppliers, IT stakeholders, and management to ensure efficient, data-driven, and future-oriented crew training processes.
The role combines operational understanding, technical expertise, system administration

Challenges you will work on:

• System administration and development of crew training systems, including Prodefis TPMS, Pelesys, COURSE, E-File, and CMS.
• Configure and maintain event templates, roster mappings, qualification rules, and training automation workflows (Prodefis).
• Drive automation of crew training processes and records between systems such as TPMS, COURSE, and CMS.
• Develop and maintain integrations between training systems and operational platforms.
• Programming and automation using Python and RAVE.
• Create data extractions, ETL processes, and automated workflows connected to the CMS Oracle database.
• Develop operational-critical Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions for Crew Training.
• Work with SQL, Azure Databricks, and other analytics platforms to visualize and analyze crew training data.
• Coordinate technical discussions, improvements, and integrations with external suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support data migration and data quality initiatives connected to crew and training systems.
• Develop tools and methods for automation, AI-supported processes, and operational insights.
• Support administration and development of web-based training solutions and e-learning platforms.
• Contribute to future digitalization initiatives and optimization of Crew Training operations.

The Team

You will be part of SAS Crew Training, responsible for all EASA-OPS training for SAS flight and cabin crew, as well as EASA-FCL training conducted through the SAS ATO. Our team values professionalism, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

To be successful we believe you have

• Experience working with automation, analytics, system administration, or digital development in operational environments.
• Strong technical understanding of system integrations, databases, and workflow automation.
• Experience with programming and SQL.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.
• Understanding of ETL processes, data structures, and system integrations.
• Experience working with operational-critical systems and data quality management.
• Ability to understand both technical solutions and operational business needs.
• Experience with crew training systems, aviation systems, or regulated environments is considered an advantage.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, Oracle databases, or AI-supported automation is beneficial.
• Fluent in English and preferably one Scandinavian language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
