Challenges you will work on:


As Network Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving SAS’s strategic decisions by optimizing our route portfolio to meet the changing needs of our customers. Working closely with a highly collaborative team as well as internal and external stakeholders, you will help shape the future of SAS by developing and executing market strategies, analyzing route profitability, and identifying new business opportunities in the short-haul markets. 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Optimize seat capacity and scheduling to maximize route profitability and enhance SAS's market position.
  • Analyze market demand, competitive landscape, and supply conditions within your route portfolio.
  • Identify business opportunities that drive both revenue growth and cost efficiencies.
  • Propose and implement strategic route adjustments and tactical changes based on market analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop tools and processes that improve decision-making across the Network team.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders such as Revenue Management, Sales, Finance, and Public Relations, as well as external partners, including airports and tourism boards.

To be successful, we believe you have:

 

  • University degree (Economics, Engineering, Logistics management or similar).
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience from the airline industry, management consulting, business development, or a similar role. 
  • Proven track record in business analysis, market research, and strategy development.  
  • Proactive and result oriented with significant drive for continuous improvement.  
  • A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and an ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders on all levels of the organization.  
  • Ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and communicate them effectively across the organization. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period. 
  • This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
