People & Culture Partnering Lead

Challenges you will work on

In this central role, you will play a key part in supporting SAS’s growth journey and strengthening our culture across Sweden. Your main responsibilities include:
•    Acting as a hands on People & Culture Partner, while leading, coaching, and developing a team of three People & Culture Partners in Sweden.
•    Primarily supporting our flying personnel in Sweden, while also leading partnering activities across all operational and corporate environments nationally.
•    Partnering closely with leaders to advance organizational goals through strategic and operational People & Culture support.
•    Advising leaders on people related matters such as recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, absence management, annual people cycles, MBL, and case management.
•    Strengthening collaboration between leaders, colleagues, unions, and People & Culture functions.
•    Overseeing implementation and continuous improvement of people processes through the People Platform (SuccessFactors).
•    Fostering a strong leadership culture aligned with SAS values and operating principles.
•    Building alignment across Sweden and UK People & Culture Partnering activities to ensure consistency, quality, and a strong colleague experience.


You will collaborate closely with colleagues across People & Culture Centres of Excellence, Industrial Relations, People Services & Payroll, and leaders across the business to support successful delivery of the SAS People Plan.

The Team

You will lead the People & Culture Partnering team in Sweden, consisting of three People & Culture Partners, and be part of a local Stockholm based team of four P&C Partners. In addition, you will be part of a wider 18 person People & Culture Partnering organization across Scandinavia, all working together to make SAS and SAS Operations the preferred employer in aviation.
You will report to the Head of People & Culture for SAS Operations.

To be successful, we believe you have

•    Proven experience within HR / People & Culture, including leading and developing teams (directly or indirectly).
•    Strong ability to build trust, followership, and long term relationships with leaders at multiple levels.
•    Experience from HR Partnering roles in a Scandinavian and/or international organization.
•    At least 6 years of post education experience within HR, People & Culture, or organizational development.
•    Relevant higher education, preferably at bachelor level or above.
•    Experience working in a high paced environment within a cross functional operating model.
•    Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
•    A solution oriented approach, strong prioritization skills, and a positive, can do attitude.
