Pricing Manager

 

We are looking for an experienced Pricing Management professional from the airline industry. In this position you will be our subject-matter expert for interline & partner pricing. You will drive profitability in some of the most complex revenue flows.

Aviation is a vital part of Scandinavian infrastructure and SAS is Scandinavia's leading airline. We maintain the highest frequency of departures to and from Scandinavia and connect smaller regional airports with larger hubs. With the help of our partners, we fly our customers to 1 300 destinations around the world.  

Challenges you will work on:

 

  • Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, and Alliances to design and implement optimal price structures based on prorate agreements and codeshares.  
  • Create and execute pricing strategies involving other airlines, and guide pricing colleagues on best practices for optimizing multicarrier fare structures.  
  • Conduct performance followups on partnerships and work with the Alliances and network team to evaluate results and identify improvement opportunities.  
  • Present analyses, insights, and recommended actions to the Revenue Leadership Team on a regular basis.  
  • Work closely with the Alliances team to optimize availability strategies within the Revenue Management System (RMS).  
  • Lead or contribute to pricing-related initiatives and crossfunctional projects across SAS. 

The Team

 

Pricing Management at SAS has around 16 employees. We are 3 pricing teams (Intercont, Short haul & corporate pricing ). In this position you will work cross-functionally with all 3 teams. 

You will collaborate extensively with Revenue Management, Alliances, Network and Sales, driving pricing structures that strengthen our competitiveness and partner profitability. This is a high impact role with significant exposure to SAS’s revenue leadership team.

To be successful we believe you have

 

  • A University degree at the bachelor's or master's level in a relevant field (preferably technical, economical, or mathematical majors). 
  • Experience in pricing management, revenue management, or a related field, ideally within the aviation industry is desirable. 
  • A detail-oriented and analytical approach, with a keen eye for identifying pricing opportunities and optimizing price structures including interline and codeshare. 
  • Strong Excel skills, including proficiency with building pivot tables, applying formulas and interpreting datasets to support informed decision making.
  • A collaborative mindset and like work with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Experience with SPA agreements, partner fares, or interline pricing will be considered a strong advantage.

  • This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
