PRICING MANAGER
Challenges you will work on:
We are looking for a Pricing Manager who will be responsible for pricing part of the SAS network & selected ancillary products. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing revenue streams. The position involves close cooperation internally within Revenue Management - Pricing as well as coordination with other commercial departments within SAS, among which Revenue Management, Global Sales, Network & the ancillary team. The role requires a combination of strong commercial understanding, analytical skills and problem-solving mindset to identify opportunities and drive pricing performance.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure optimal price structures in relevant geographical areas, in close cooperation with Revenue Management and Sales.
- Identify improvement areas in pricing and drive the implementation of these changes.
- Develop and implement pricing strategies for ancillary products and services to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Be responsible for tactical pricing, such as campaigns and pricing tests.
- Be responsible for other price concepts, beyond the public price structure.
- Participate in, or run pricing-related projects with other relevant departments within SAS.
- Follow-up, analyze and take actionable recommendations on commercial activities and performance.
- Represent Pricing in various forums, such as market meetings.
Be the contact person in pricing for Sales, for the markets you are responsible for.
The Team
Pricing Management at SAS has around 16 team members, divided into 3 pricing teams (Long Haul, Short haul & Corporate Pricing). In this position, you will primarily work with the Short Haul Pricing and Revenue Management teams.
To be successful we believe you have
- University degree, preferably in engineering, economics, mathematics, or another analytical discipline.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and clear commercial recommendations.
- A solid understanding of commercial drivers and business performance.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong presentation capabilities, including PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Nice to have:
- Experience of Revenue Management or Pricing
- Experience from airline, travel-tech, e-commerce, hospitality, or travel industry
- Understanding of airline retailing, offer management, or distribution systems.

- Be supported by an experienced Pricing Manager who will act as a mentor and help you build a strong foundation in Pricing and Revenue Management.
- Receive comprehensive support from your team, mentor, and leader as you take ownership of your markets and responsibilities
- Participate in extensive system training delivered by our system supplier, including training sessions in Copenhagen.
- Gain first-hand insight into the wider SAS business through visits to other departments, including airport and operational functions.
