SAS is Scandinavia’s leading airline with destinations in Europe, the USA, and Asia. We are now looking for a Process & System Specialist within Crew Data Management who wants to contribute to SAS’s continued success.
About the Position
A Process & System Specialist within Crew Data Management is an integral member of the Crew Data Management team and is expected to take full responsibility for maintaining coherent processes for crew data management, communication and reporting.
The Process & System Specialist is responsible for specifying system requirements and structured processes to follow to secure accurate and correct crew data control according to regulations, agreements and effective crew planning.
Examples of crew data to be managed, communicated and reported are crew qualifications, contracts and status of availability and different crew accounts, some managed within crew planning and some within other stakeholder organizations within SAS. The Process & System Specialist is therefore also engaged in cross functional teams.
Crew Planning is a central function in an airline, making the role both interesting and enjoyable. External factors greatly influence daily operations, giving you the opportunity to be close to where things happen.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Take ownership for a coherent process for Crew Data Management for all crew groups
• Specifying system requirements and other requirements needed for efficient and effective processes for crew data handling
• Develop, document and maintain processes, routines and checklists to be followed within Crew Data Management
• Ensure processes are accessible and followed
• Make decisions, recommendations and take actions needed to improve performance
• Drive standardization and actively seek continuous improvements within own area of responsibility.
• Pro-actively identify potential issues/problems and escalate or preferably identify possible actions to mitigate
• Analyze own performance and adjust accordingly
• Communicate plans and performance to relevant stakeholders
• Share knowledge, best practices and seek to improve overall performance
• Participate and/or lead internal projects
• Coaching of junior colleges
Competencies and Experience
We’re Looking for You who has
• Min. 4 years of work experience from an analytical field
• Experience process and system management
• Experience in data management
You should have the following skills
• Very good analytical skills – ability to compile data, clarify issues and present conclusions
• Very good communication skills - verbally and in written form
• Advanced skills in MS office, especially MS PPT and MS Excel
• Fluent Business English - written and spoken

• Attention to details and structured with good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude and drive
• Change prone - thrive with continuous change and contribute to the development of daily work

- This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
