PROJECT MANAGER AIRCRAFT TRANSFER
Short Description
Aircraft Transfer is part of SAS Technical Operations and we are now seeking a Project Manager.
Technical Operations mission is to deliver airworthy aircraft according to SAS Standards and to lowest possible cost.
You will be responsible for the phase-out process for used aircraft from SAS to new operators and lessors and the phase-in process of new and used aircraft to SAS. During the projects you will be focusing on Continuing Airworthiness, safety and cost reduction. You can also be responsible for other SAS Technical Operations projects such as Cabin retrofit programs.
Within Aircraft Transfer we also have the Check Flight Engineer duty. This incorporate check flights when requested, both planned and on demand.
Coordination of activities with authorities, Lessors, manufactures and internally within SAS will also be part of your responsibility. The position as Project Manager includes extensive business travel and flexible working hours.
You report to the Manager of Aircraft Transfer, within SAS Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization.
Formal Requirements:
- Higher technical education.
- Appropriate experience related to continuing airworthiness.
- Negotiation experience.
- Able to write and speak English fluently.
- In-depth knowledge of EASA Part CAMO, EASA Part 145 and EASA OPS regulations.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations.
- EASA Part-66 license on SAS operated aircraft (A320NEO/A330 and/or A350).
- Preferable experience from working with SAS operated aircraft types.
- Preferable experience from working with AMOS.
- Experience of external relations with aircraft manufacturer, maintenance providers Lessors and Authorities.
