PURCHASER
Short Description
As a purchaser you are responsible for provisioning of technical aircraft material to SAS home bases (ARN, OSL, CPH). Material needs to be delivered on-time, at best cost alternative possible and above all by following applicable EASA regulations. This requires not only purchasing skills but also a deep understanding of aviation regulation, certification need, and traceability requirements.
Challenges you will work on:
Ensuring high material availability at line bases upon Production Planning request at the lowest possible total cost to meet the airlines needs in compliance with current regulations and processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Ordering consumable material from approved suppliers.
• Generate, distribute and continuous follow-up of purchase order for planned need as well as stock replenishment.
• Actively maintain and update AMOS information regarding order status, purchasing information with relevant data to secure consistent flow of information to involved stakeholders.
• Daily contact with external suppliers, freight forwarder, planning and engineering. Good communication and information flow to meet the airline’s needs.
• Actively choose the most efficient transport and sourcing alternative.
• Ownership of each order generated within the system until delivery and secure that delivery of material is done according to order requirement.
• Responsible for invoice handling related to own orders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve processes related to own work duties. Including actively update and improve applicable instructions within own area.
• Participate in relevant and applicable improvement projects and propose improvements.
The Team
You will work closely with external suppliers, freight forwarders, planning and engineering teams, ensuring efficient procurement and material flow to support SAS Maintenance Operations.

Experience
• Ability to handle and understand the prioritization of tasks.
• Take ownership and deliver on the department’s established goals.
• Solution oriented while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and processes.
• Good at taking own initiative and collaborating with others to improve SAS in the best way possible.
• Act with a positive attitude and be a good workmate.
• Master one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English in both speech and writing.
• Good understanding of Maintenance Operations.
• Good knowledge of EASA regulations in Part-M and Part-145.
• Knowledge in LEAN.
• Knowledge of Quality and Safety Management System.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes on a global level.
Other of Importance
• 2–4 years of professional experience within logistics/purchasing area.
• Lean Level 1.
• Safety Culture (Human Factor).
• AMOS Basic Knowledge.
• IPC/CMM Training.

• This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
