Recourse management is a department responsible for driving long-term planning strategies for crew and ground handling operations, ensuring resource availability aligns with business objectives, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Challenges you will work on:
As a Long Term Planner you get a chance to work in a challenging role with the opportunity to develop yourself and contribute to the success of SAS operations. In this role, you are responsible for making it possible to allocate the right number of people, at the right time and with the right qualification.
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will secure the balance between resource supply and production demand. You will tackle the intricate task of laying the foundation to a successful operation and achieving high productivity and cost efficiency. Your ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial of high impact.
Some of the main areas of responsibility:
• Resource budget and 5Y/3Y long term business plan
• Monthly forecast iterations and budget follow ups
• Proactively identify, assess, present and support in key business improvement opportunities
• Business partner to key stakeholders

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and structured person who is patient and enjoys getting things right. You like working on tasks until everything adds up and can stay focused even when deadlines are tight.
To succeed in this role, you also need to be flexible and able to handle busy periods with high pressure. Collaboration is important, as you will work closely with colleagues in Resource Management, Ground Operations, and Finance. Because of this, we are looking for someone who enjoys teamwork and communicating with different stakeholders. Finally, being able to work with details while still keeping an overview of the bigger picture is key to this role.
• A university degree, preferably in Economics, Engineering , Logistics, or Transport
• Thorough, patient, process-oriented, structured, with an analytical mindset and strong drive to achieve results
• Proven experience in conducting complex analyses
• Strong proficiency in Excel, with advanced knowledge of functions and data handling
• Commitment to work from the office 4 days per week
