Revenue Management System Specialist

SAS is looking for a Revenue Management System Specialist to the Cross-market team within Revenue Management department.

Constant development of RMS system as well as the right utilization is a top priority in SAS Revenue Management. We are now looking for a new Revenue Management System Specialist to contribute to RMS system development and ensure optimal system utilization in practice.
You will be part of a cross functional team consisting of 10 system specialists, data scientists and BI analysts. In the role as Revenue Management System Specialist, you will be an instrumental part of ensuring best practice usage of the Revenue Management System and manage the system day-to-day operation as well as system development in co-operation with our suppliers. The work of the RM system specialists will secure the foundation for achieving the goal of improving SAS’ PASK and CF performance. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Provide support and training to RM end-users for optimal usage of Revenue Management System
•    Drive best practice processes in collaboration with the RM teams to ensure optimal processes from both commercial and RM system perspective
•    Manage the day-to-day operation of the Revenue Management System in collaboration with our RMS provider
•    Drive and participate in new system development and calibrations
•    Implement and maintain centralized Revenue Management controls to reflect commercial needs
•    Stay updated with industry trends and best practices within Revenue Management area to recommend improvements, new tools, or way of doing business

For this position we are looking for someone with minimum 3-5 years of Revenue Management System experience. Furthermore, our right candidate has the abilities of a true translator, combining competence of revenue management systems with a business acumen:

•    Understanding of current and future paradigms of revenue management systems, experience from Amadeus Altéa Network RMS or similar O&D RMS is preferred.  
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams 
•    Growth mindset and change prone
•    Proactive orientation and organized approach to development
•    Curious, motivated, and ready to take on responsibility
•    Understanding of machine learning concepts
•    M.Sc. degree within relevant field, possibly in computer science, logistics, statistics, or mathematics, alternatively with relevant practical experience
