SAFETY & COMPLIANCE ENGINEER
We are looking for a Compliance and Safety Engineer
Are you excited about development, administration and maintenance of effective safety and compliance management? If so, the role as Compliance & Safety Engineer for SAS Link might be the perfect fit for you!
In this role, you will be responsible for the processes as required by CAMO.A.305 and directly connected to SAS core value of keeping a safe operation. You will report directly to the SAS Link NPCA and Technical Director.
SAS Link operates a fleet of 16 E195-E1, mainly operating in the Scandinavian intra-domestic market and is planned to expand to a fleet of 45 E195-E2 over the next 4 years.
Challenges you will work on:
- Facilitate and co-ordinate hazard identification, risk assessment and management.
- Maintain the CAMO Hazard register.
- Monitor the implementation of actions taken to mitigate risks, as listed in the safety action plan.
- Coordinate Safety Action Group meetings including material and actions derived from them.
- Ensure that training is available, and that it meets acceptable standards.
- Review all SMS and HF feedback gleaned from recurrent training, and incorporate as appropriate into the recurrent training syllabus and training documentation.
- Provide advice on safety matters.
- Ensure the initiation, follow-up and due dates of internal occurrence investigations, hazard mitigations and compliance findings.2
- Provide oversight of the functioning of the occurrence reporting system.
- Analyze all occurrences collected in order to identify the safety hazards associated with identified occurrences or groups of occurrences.
- Maintain and coordinate training requirements, results and expiries for all CAMO personnel.
- Ensure at least annually that manuals remain relevant in accordance with regulatory requirements and AOC operations.
- Coordinate with external and internal auditors for audit preparations

To be successful we believe you have
- Practical experience in the application of aviation maintenance standards and safe operating practices.
- Knowledge of regulations applicable to the Operator: Part M / Part CAMO / Part 145, Part.CAT.IDE.A / Part 26
- Knowledge of the AOC Compliance Monitoring and Safety systems.
- 3 years relevant work experience in the subject or similar role.
- An aeronautical degree or aircraft maintenance technician qualification (EASA Part 66 Licence)
- Knowledge of maintenance methods.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and mandatory requirements.
- Have a fundamental understanding of the English language Competence within MS Office package, mainly Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of E1 and or E2 is a plus
- AMOS Basic Knowledge is a plus
