SALES OPTIMIZATION PERFORMANCE SPECIALIST

You will join a global Sales organization and work towards all SAS markets. You will play a key role in connecting our performance cycle priorities, commercial strategy and analytics to drive sales in our indirect channels.
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Work closely with your colleagues in the Sales Optimization team and Global Sales leaders to address complex commercial challenges that span across Sales, Revenue management, Pricing, Network and other business functions.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, engaging stories that drive tactical actions within Sales.
- Challenge existing ways of working and proactively identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and business outcomes.
- Combine quantitative analysis with commercial understanding to uncover opportunities and risks.

The Team
You will join the Sales Optimization Team, a diverse, high-performing group within SAS’s Global Sales organization. The team identifies commercial opportunities and threats early, translates them into prioritized actions, and enables the organization to execute quickly through the right tools, processes and stakeholder alignment. Additionally, it supports the Sales organization with analytics in day-to-day challenges as well as larger revenue-generating projects. Our motto is “Proactive first, reactive fast”.
To be successful we believe you have
- A strong commercial mindset and an interest in understanding the drivers of business performance, customer behavior, market dynamics and sales effectiveness, and can translate insights into actions that create business value.
- Analytical skills combined with business understanding, enabling you to translate data into insights and effectively communicate recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Strong skills in Excel, Power BI (or other data visualization tools) and PowerPoint.
- A proactive and curious approach with a willingness to take ownership and challenge the existing ways of working.
- Experience working within the airline industry, preferably in Sales, Revenue Management, Pricing, Network Planning, or another commercial function.
- A degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Fluent in English; other Nordic languages are a bonus.

Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period

This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work 1-2 days a week may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
