Senior Infrastructure & Public Affairs Manager

As SAS’s infrastructure expert, you will ensure the right capabilities are in place while driving impactful dialogues with key partners.
Challenges you will work on
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will:
• Lead SAS’s strategic dialogue with authorities, policymakers, and infrastructure providers across Scandinavia.
• Negotiate with infrastructure providers and authorities on charges (ATC, airport, and security) and related investments in airport infrastructure.
• Align SAS’s infrastructure and charges strategy with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Procurement, and Pricing.
• Drive coordinated engagement with SAS’s three hubs on prioritized infrastructure and policy issues.
• Monitor developments in charges, regulation, and market outlook, ensuring SAS remains proactive and well-prepared.
• Represent SAS in selected industry forums and contribute to advocacy plans and public affairs strategies.
The Team
You will be part of the Communication, Public Affairs & Sustainability department, within the People organization, and a key member of the External Affairs team. Our team values professionalism, curiosity, and collaboration. We work closely with colleagues across SAS, including Finance, Ground Operations, and Legal, to ensure a strategic and coordinated approach.
To be successful, we believe you have
• University degree in Law, Political Science, Economics, or another relevant field.
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Fluent in one Scandinavian language and excellent command of English.
• High integrity, proactive mindset, and ability to manage both details and strategic implications.
• A strong interest in aviation, infrastructure, politics, and economics.

• This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
