Senior Revenue Manager
We are looking for a highly skilled and analytical Senior Revenue Manager to lead and optimize SAS revenue management strategies. In this role, you will leverage your deep technical knowledge, leadership experience, and strategic insight to drive revenue growth, improve pricing strategies, and enhance our competitive position in the market. Challenges you will work on:
- Revenue Optimization: Lead the development and execution of network-wide revenue management strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. That include handling big portfolios and managing and optimizing a large network of routes, flights, and pricing structures to maximize overall revenue and profitability for SAS.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to communicate insights, challenges, and recommended actions.
- Project Leadership: Drive and manage projects within the revenue management and pricing domains, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely execution.
- Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Use advanced analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the airline’s network and translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices and continually refine revenue management processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
To be successful, we believe you have:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Economics. An advanced degree (MBA, MS) is preferred, especially with a technical or quantitative focus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in airline revenue management, with a strong preference for experience at a legacy network carrier.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of network revenue management principles, optimization techniques.
- Leadership & Project Management: Proven experience leading projects and managing teams within revenue management or pricing environments.
- Analytical Skills and experience with BI: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights to drive business outcomes with programming/SQL.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex ideas in a clear, concise manner. Swedish language is not a requirement.
- Bias for Action: Ability to act decisively in fast-paced environments, moving from analysis to insight to action with urgency.
