Purpose
The Tax Function has overall accountability for taxes across the SAS Group. We provide strategic and operational tax support to various internal stakeholders, and we ensure accurate and timely filings and manage queries from external stakeholders. We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Tax Specialist who would enjoy working with corporate tax matters in an international and changing context. The right candidate for the position will have a key role in facilitating a productive collaboration with internal teams and external service providers in the different countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare/review income tax calculations and tax returns primarily for the Scandinavian entities, Ireland, and the UK, supported by external advisors in the respective countries.
- Prepare country-by-country reporting and data to transfer pricing local files.
- Navigate changes in tax legislation, e.g. global minimum tax rules, public CbCR, etc.
- Manage tax audits and inquiries from local tax authorities.
- Prepare tax forecasting and identify tax savings and incentives.
- Review contracts from an income tax perspective.
- Contribute with tax expertise in different projects.
- Provide tax support to HR.
Experience
To be successful, we believe you should have:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s law degree with focus on taxation.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience from working with corporate tax e.g. at Big 4 and/or as an inhouse tax specialist in a large multinational organization.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS (IAS 12) and local GAAP.
- Ambition to keep up to date of legislative changes etc.
- Excellent communication skills, be fluent in written and spoken Swedish, Danish or Norwegian, and business English.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, experience working in ERP systems is an asset.
As a person we believe that you are highly analytical with a strong numerical aptitude. You see yourself as detailed-oriented, accurate and with a proactive approach. It is important for you to be a collaborative team player with the ability to take initiatives in group discussions. You are also well-structured and organized.

The job is full time, based in HQ at Frösundavik, Stockholm. You will be part of a team of six professionals and report to Director, Head of Group Tax.
