Technical Operation Engineers

We are now looking for Technical Operations Engineers to CAMO and the Maintenance Operation Control team to serve as a CAMO operational engineering support mainly to the maintenance organizations (P-145), but also to act for the best interest of the aircraft operations as part of OCC. Since this job function requires working shift, both days and nights as scheduled you need to like flexible working hours. 


Challenges you will work on

- Function as Operational CAMO engineering support mainly to Maintenance Production (P-145) 24/7 including direct contact with aircraft TC/OEM holder and other Part 21 organizations when applicable.
- Single point of contact/responsible coordinator for AOG situations outside SAS P-145 staffed bases.
- Plan and act related to Aircraft AOG recovery
- Monitor aircraft systems and take necessary action
- Monitor and control the airworthiness of SAS aircraft fleet
- Handling of various mandatory documents according to regulatory requirements.
- Close communication between different departments inside and outside SAS CAMO.
- Develop and optimize procedures related to maintenance planning and control.

As a Technical Operational Engineer at SAS you will

You’ll be working with the latest technology that aviation has to offer both in the air and on the ground. SAS is currently the largest A320 NEO operator in Europe. Also, in our fleet we have A350s, the most advanced aircraft Airbus has ever built. Similarly, on the ground we are utilizing tools that are the latest and the greatest such as Skywise platform with premium tools included. All of this allows both SAS and us as professionals to grow and use the latest that aviation world has to offer. You will colaborate internal within CAMO as well as being the single point of contact between Maintenance Control and all other operational departments within the AOC during the daily operation. In addition, ensure close collaboration with different maintenance providers.


To be successful, we believe you should have:

- Aircraft Engineering degree or equivalent documented experience suitable for the role.
- Aircraft Technician/engineering degree (EASA Part-66 AML on relevant aircraft types).
- Experience in TC/OEM holder communication, processes and requirements
- Engineering knowledge of aircraft structures and systems  
- Good knowledge of civil aviation regulation EASA Part M and Part 145
- Needed knowledge of EASA Part 21 necessary for the role.
- Computer proficiency in general.
- Experience in Maintenance Management Information system (AMOS specifically preferable) with supporting follow-up systems.
- Good understanding of technical operation procedures and manuals.

You are a planner and organizer and have the ability to find, handle and structure a large amount of information - to be able to take the right decisions. You have sharp judgment skills and can prioritize in a stressful environment. It´s important that you have attention to detail, is a problem solver, have excellent time-management skills and a result driven and can-do attitude when solving challenging situations. Furthermore, you are a teamplayer with a clear and straight forward communication style.  
An EU working permit is required. As this position requires occasional work airside, to be eligible for this position you must be able to pass a security test including a background check and travel is to be expected as part of the job.
