Transformation Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Transformation Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving transformational change across the organization, improving efficiency, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring sustainable growth.
As a Transformation Manager you will be a member of the Transformation team and lead large transformation initiatives as well as act as coach for individuals and/or teams in setting up initiatives, roadmaps, planning, execution and ways for working. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, develop strategic plans, and drive the implementation of key projects. We are seeking a talented and forward thinking project leader who wants to be a driving force in our transformation journey.
You will be reporting to the Head of Transformation.
As a Transformation Manager at SAS you will:
- Oversee the implementation of transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and develop actionable plans to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and key stakeholders to understand business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and gain buy-in for transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with various departments to drive process optimization, technology integration, and organizational change.
- Create and implement new processes and ways of working, make improvements & drive change management.
- Implement robust change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and practices across all levels of the organization.
- Contribute to the overall transformation program, monitor progress and performance of transformation initiatives and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Foster a culture of continuous business improvement and innovation within the organization.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as needed within team.
To be successful, we believe you should have:
- Min 5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, transformation, or similar roles. Experience of the airline or transportation industry is a plus.
- Experience of project management and leadership within strategic, cross-functional initiatives - from shaping the vision to driving execution.
- Proven ability to drive clarity and alignment across complex projects, ensuring successful delivery in fast-changing and complex organizational environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a pragmatic approach to getting things done.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills - you can engage and inspire at all levels, including C-suite, and translate complex ideas into clear, actionable messages.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on driving accountability and results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Swedish, Danish or Norwegian is an advantage.

- Position: Fulltime (100%) starting with a 6-month probation period.
- This position is based in Frösundavik, Solna (Stockholm), and you will be expected to work onsite. Remote work may also be an option, depending on the agreement made with your manager.
